I just had a great idea involving real guns and paintball/airsoft need help from ammo experts?

ok so its too long to explain but if you send me a message i will explain later tomorrow or tonight but anyway is there anything that isn't as explosive as gun powder but still is almost as powerful?

There is ammunition that doesn't even use gunpowder. It simply uses a powerful primer to launch the projectile. It is also silent, but not quite powerful enough to cycle a semi-automatic.

There is also non-lethal live ammuntion that leaves a colored paint mark and is used for training. It requires some modification to your firearm to be used. I would only recommend it for military/police training though. This ammuntion can still be deadly.
