The panel interview went well cos they seemed interested in me, asking questions, while they skipped the others i was with. We were all happy and smiling. Problem is, I have a tattoo at my lower back, (right side) do you think that will cancel out my chances? We have not had the medical yet, but if I get in, they will find out. Is northwest airlines strict with that?

  1. Page 6 of the Northwest Manual for Employees, "...You will not be hired if you have a tattoo..."  It then goes on  to say, "However, three tattoos are acceptable..."

    Kidding! You'll be fine.

  2. Ok, how is anyone going to see it with the outfits that the flight attendants wear. I mean, unless you plan to take your shirt off for some reason, I see no reason that anyone would be able to see it..

Your more likely going to have to cut your hair a certain way than to have this done...

  3. dont flight crew wear full shirts and pants or skirts?  i dont think they anyone would see your tatoo? did the interviewer see it?

  4. The doctor who does the medical is bound by confidentiality and cannot disclose this kind of information.  Nobody will know you have a tattoo on your lower back unless you tell them or show them.
