My dentist recomended me for a root canal, even though the decay never hit the nerves or anything in my tooth, and so yesterday I went in to the endodontist and he told me that it wasnt a root canal yet, but I would definitely need one eventually, and so I had to root canal done and today my mouth is so sore and it still hurts with cold (which he said wouldnt happen anymore). After the procedure he told me he got all the nerves out and that I wouldnt need to come in again.

Whats wrong with me? Did he do the wrong tooth?

  1. Give it time. Drink room temperature liquids. Same for foods. Call dentist immediately if there is an infection. Ice packs on area REALLY help with the swelling. Most people ignore this suggestion but it's  the best one. Put an ice cube in a plastic bag and close it with a clothes pin and put it on the pulled tooth area off and on all day.
