I just had my wisdom teeth cut out 6 days ago. During the day now, they are fine, even without pain pills.?

I just can't open my mouth since my jaw is ridiculously stiff. But every night I wake up in excruciating pain! Is this normal? ?

Sorry my question looks like an idiot wrote it. I hate Yahoo.

My jaw was very stiff after I had my wisdom teeth out as well, that's pretty normal.  The pain could be from trying to use the jaw during the day or it becoming slack when you are asleep.  Try taking a pain pill before you sleep, or some Tylenol to see if that helps keep the pain at bay, or you can try icing your jaw different times during the day.
