I just had over 70000 credits disappear while I was playing. Where did they go?

I started playing deuces wild video poker with over 73000 credits. All of a sudden the screen seemed to freeze for a minute, and when it dealt again, I only had 2700 credits. Did yahoo store them someplace or did they just disappear,never to be seen again.
