The gloss is uneven from tile to tile and even on the same tiles. The sealer was applied with a mop and dried uneven. The installer suggested I use mop and glow.......will this help? What do I do to get a consistant gloss on my tiles or do I need to strip this stuff off?

  1. Strip with solvent and reapply sealant, this is the correct thing to do. Do not use mop and glow!

  2. Take lots and lots of pictures and get it in writing because that doesn't sound right to me! But I did all of my stuff myself and the way I wanted it.

  3. Porcelain tile does not need a  sealer only the porous grout will absorb the sealer.. If sealer is left on a surface and not allowed to be absorbed it will be splotchy.. All sealers warn not to be allowed to "puddle" w/o being wiped off.. How to get it off? Check the manufacture, I wouldn t try a thing until I know what it was made from  GL
