Using the position function s(t)=at^2(squared) + bt + c.

A custard pie is thrown upward from a height of 220 feet. After 1 second, the pie is 222 feet above the ground. After 3 seconds, it is 130 feet above the ground. Write a position function for the pie.

  1. I'm not very good at maths. Perhaps you should just leave this problem aside.

  2. s(0)=220

    s(1)= a+b +c = 222

    s(3)= 9a +3b +c= 130

    Solve a, b and c

I believe you can get the equation from here.
