  1. It isn't alot of income for rich newscast talking heads...

This shows how out of touch the media is to the real world people.  I bet when media companies start outsourcing news reporters to other countries, some of these people will finally wise up...

  2. Try forcing Ted Kennedy and John Kerry and John Edwards and Nancy Pelosi to live on only $250k per year.  Not a one of them would do it, or COULD do it.

So for the nitwits above me - a person's political affiliation has nothing to do with this question or its answer.  There are just as many selfish, greedy, wealthy Democrats as their are selfish, greedy, wealthy Republicans.  Someone who starts at the top of the income chain is never going to understand the daily lives of people who make less than $100k.  And someone who starts at the bottom and works their way up should never forget what it took to get there.

  3. I think it depends on where one lives, and also if this person is a "small business owner", as any "profit" seen by the business is reported as individual income.

  4. Like to see her trade places with me and actually have to EARN a living.  Time for a reality check, I think.

That's too funny.   Just shows how out of touch some people are.

  5. Depends where you live. Remember in Liberal land you know those wealthy liberal zip codes a quarter of a million is looked down upon. For more conservative areas not making a lot of money it is a fortune. She does work in Manhattan after all. It is like Obama talking to the Swells in San Francisco where the low rent housing is 900k and he complained about us Yahoos living in the Ohio River Valley.

While getting sweet deals in Chicago but I am sure you have forgotten that detail already.

  6. What are you, a Communist? Liberals! $250,000 is chump change! You hate America! The surge worked! The media is left-wing and Stalinist!

Sorry, had to get that out of my system. What do we expect from Fox News? "Terrorist Fist Jab"?

  7. listen i would be happy making 36K a year if i didn't have to pay taxes and if i had 250K that means i wouldn't work for like 7 years. really how much money do we need to earn and for whose interest are we really working for if we have to make and work for over 30 40 years at jobs we hate and then have our homes go into foreclosure and can not fill up the gas tank. really i do not want to work for the rest of my life so the government can send money over to Israel and Jordan and where ever else they send our tax dollars and then go to borrow money cause we can not pay for our own. we live in a sad world.

  8. She probably is, because in the circles she visits, it really is not.  If she was speaking about someone who gets invited to speak on a major network news program, $250K would be a pitifully small income.

It does show poor taste on her part to speak of it, since that is a large income to the vast majority of people.

  9. That's cause she's one of those Hollywood types.  I'm in education.  I'm never going to see six figures until I'm either married or in another 15 years.

  10. I would give my left nut for 250K, I am serious.

  11. I've found that no matter how much money we make, we're always broke.  That's because as our income goes up, our lifestyle expenses rise accordingly.  I can't imagine still being broke making 250K....if she was serious, she needs to think about trading in a few Lexuses for some Hondas.

We also live in Michigan where the cost of living is cheap as dirt....perhaps in California or somewhere that 250K is closer to our 100K for what it gets you.

  12. I would give his left nut too...

but seriously she is a nitwit fox news is full of them....its expected....
