  1. I know how you feel but it definitely wasn't your fault. It may help if you buried the poor animal.

  2. i would go and try to find the owner and apologize, its the least you can do -

however if the owner should have been more responsible about letting his cat out, had you have swerved you could have caused a major accident

  3. It was an accident you couldnt' avoid and maybe you feel like you made a mistake by your actions.  You have to live with that mistake, but since you will carry it around with you, you will learn from it and become a better person in yourself and for everyone you meet ."Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything ".

  4. Awwww an emotional boy <3 <3 <3 how sweet. really lol. ok well if it was an accident then try not to think about it. these things happen. and the cats in a better place now but i would check to see if it has tags to see if hes stray or not. then call animal control to clean him off the street. i know it sounds horrible but this happens everyday the only thing you can really do is keep a careful eye out for not only the road but whats on the road and try to insure that it doesnt happen again. but it was an accident so try not to worry about it. just call animal control. and remember hes in a better place now whether you do or dont believe in that sort of thing.

  5. it's your first don't worry cause i promise you it won't be your last for some strange reason animals will change direction and run right under you vehicle it's just part of life

  6. it was just his time

  7. Obviously there was/is nothing you can do about it.  You'll get over it soon enough, don't worry.

  8. aww sweetie, it's okay to cry, don't hold it in.

besides maybe that lady hit it, not you.

    ****HUGS****

  9. Spending your time on enjoyable leisures you often do.

  10. Dude, this **** happens a million times every day, it doesn't make it right but it was an accident. Pull yourself together and think yourself lucky it wasn't a kid!

  11. it's ok to cry (even if your a guy) it's normal

just remember it was only an accident - you didn't do it on purpose - and if the cats owner had been responsible kept the pet indoors -  this wouldn't have happened - it's an accident :) At least the cat died quickly and not in much pain

I was following someone once and watched him run over a guys new lab pup that ran into the highway -welcome to life's lessons -  sh*t happens, deal with it (I hate that slogan but it's so true)

  12. Grief, confusion, anger, guilt and depression are all normal and typical reactions. However, the length of time for grief varies from individual to individual.

The most important thing in coping with the this is to acknowledge that you are going to have the emotions, and know that it’s O.K. to be angry/sad/upset.

  13. Nothing really you can do, you just have to let it go.  Atleast in ones lifetime they will run over something or hit a deer.  I know you feel terrible but its their fault for running across the street.  You will be ok, don't worry about it, I know it sucks running over an animal but it happens, just let it go

  14. It was out of your hands, think of it this way maybe the cat was a reincarnation of an evil person who did something in their past life and deserved to get ran over by a car. If you still feel bad, take the cat 2 a pet cemetery (if you know where the body is). Also it happens all the time, you're not the first person to run over a small animal and you're not gonna be the last either.

  15. Its all good mate I've run over loads of them it probably wont be ya last as you have heaps of driving years ahead of you. The important thing is you did the right thing not to panic or swerve. its always better to run over a cat than to damage ya car.

  16. the first time is the hardest.

it's only a cat. don't be hard on yourself.

    it was an accident.

it's worse if you have to get out and finish the job, believe me.
