I just hooked up two subwoofers and an amp then as i was playing it , it just shut off, why?

I just hooked up two subwoofers and an amp then as i was playing it , it just shut off, why?

no power....replace fuse      went in protection...... check the impedance of  you sub/subs & make sure they match            need to know if they are dual  4 , 2 ohm or single 4,8 ohms

it could be a lot of different things

power and/or ground wires not thick enough

in-line fuse or fuse in the amp too small and/or blown

incorrect amp (subs are best with mono amps because they run cooler)

incorrect impedance (ohms) at the amp

amp not powerful enough (protecting itself)

amp too powerful (protecting the subs)

wire came loose (power, ground, or remote)

RCAs disconnected

you need to give your model numbers and it would narrow it down to one or two things
