  1. Keep in mind when looking at the back of the card, to determine the year of the card add a year to the last year of stats shown on the back. That being said, Nolan Ryan from any year is worth pulling along with any star names you recognize. Rookies to look for are (Topps brand): 1977 Dawson #473, Dale Murphy #476-1978: Eddie Murray #36 Paul Molitor #707- 1979 Ozzie Smith #116-1980 Rickey Henderson #482-1982 Cal ripken #21 (three players on card), 1983 TOny Gwynn, Wade Boggs, Ryne Sandberg, 1884 Don Mattingly, 1985 Roger Clemens, Mark McGwire Olympic card, Kirby Puckett. THe rest of the cards you can give away, they aren't worth a whole lot of anything. Hope this helps!

  2. If they aren't in the original packaging, or in a sealed container they aren't mint condition anymore..../

  3. look for Rookie cards of Hall of Famers.

  4. Im sure you dont have any mints, because any cards that are packaged by the 1500, wouldnt be.  Mints are only cards that are put into protection as soon as they are manufactured pretty much.

THings to look for however mite be rookies and brand names.  You know like your McGwire and Cansencos.

Follow Paul V's list too, he's rite.

And try not to get a raw deal.  Look through every card.  It mite take all day, but the payoff willb e ncie.
