Event that I am able to see the wireless network from the available list I cannot access to my own network after typing the password. Does anybody know how to set up the wireless U-verse on the linux Fedora 9????

  1. You are using the WPA code on the 2wire router aren't you?  The proper "password" is the code printed on the bottom of the router label! *unless you changed it.  Mine just connected up with no issues at all, once the SSID and the Security Code were correct.  There are SOME wireless cards that don't work correctly with WPA. So you may need to login to the 2wire router and disable security, connect see if all works, then go back and re-enable security. (Find a level that works with your wireless adapter!)

  2. Try accessing your router with a cable, disabling security, and seeing if you can connect. Then check the different security settings and see what works. The driver that you have on the laptop may not support the encryption mode that you are using on the router
