Is this because of the ground? If yes, why is that?

  1. sounds like a bad ground to me. Try wiring the ground directly to the battery and see if that helps.

  2. I have the same issue with my car. The high pitch noise is called engine noise through your speakers which can be caused by any peice of wiring you have placed from your amp to anything. it is hard to find and i have not been able to find out what is causing mine and it has been over a year since i have had it in my car..bummer..but engine noise is caused by the Amp producing too much power..or could be one of the reasons

  3. What kind of amp? Try using Highend rca's.If not its your amp most new amps have floating ground technology to prevent this. You may need a better amp

  4. a big cause of this problem is poor grounding. Check your grounds. Maybe ground your radio. Some rca cables have a wire inbetween them that it used to bond components together. If you have this wire and connect it to the radio and amplifier it will bleed off induced voltages that the rcas may have.

  5. make sure your rcas are as far from the power wire as possible(example: run power down passenger side and rcas down drivers side) also you may have your gain set to high. just try turning it down slowly until the noise goes away
