I just join the army and i have a question

im a 11b, I didnt get a airborne contract because if i would have taken one there was no sing on bouns I really want to go to airbone school but it was 30k or airbone. will it be easy for me to go after AIT

you might be able to get onto an airborne waiting list. ask your sergeants when you're in ait. or ask your recruiter.

No, there is a way less chance for you to get airborne school now that you've already signed. My advice would have been to get it in your contract but it's a little late now.

At the end of OSUT you should be given an oppurtunity to sign up for jump school. If not ask your Drill Sgt. If its too late for that you can put in a packet for jump school as soon as you report to your unit.(while your in reception) Being that your brand new and not really needed you'll have no problem getting in as long as you get a good score on your APFT. (260 or above) BTW, since your 11B you'll go to OSUT (one stop unit training) and never see AIT. Airborne All The Way!!!

while your in training you apply for Airborne, but if your gonna do that, you always gotta go for the highest, when your in training apply for ranger school, if you dont make it you'll still be put in a paratrooper unit

I would say wait until you get to your first unit, and then ask your squad leader. If you have not choosen your first assignment try to get Ft. Bragg. If you are not airborne qualified and want to be, they will make sure that you get qualified!
