I just joined a Yahoo! group 10/29/07 and I uploaded my photo to Flickr, but it doesn't appear. What gives?

When I go to my group, click on Members, then click on myself, my photo doesn't appear. What can I do to enable it?

Try doing it from your other e-mail id, after registering from there! That will show if there is any real problem, or if it is just that you cannot get it to appear from your own 'log-in'! (sometimes, the site is so configured that you cannot view your own photo!)

Currently Yahoo Groups is not set up for avatars in the Member's list.  Hopefully that feature will be added in the future.  Then you would load your Flickr photo into your group member avatar much like you would on Yahoo Answers.  

You can use your photo from Flickr on your Yahoo Profile. Then you would just click on your Yahoo profile to see your photo.

How do I choose photos to show?

1) Move the cursor over the Flickr Widget. Controls appear at the top.

2) Click the third control from the right, the monitor with the arrowhead in the bottom right corner. A menu appears

3) Choose a source option from the menu.

Source Options = Your Groups  - Photos from a group:  

When you are signed into the Flickr home page, click Groups > Your Groups to view, find, or create your sets.
