  1. It doesn't matter! Acting Classes are there to improve you, no one will be comparing themselves to you! Acting Classes are usually really great and fun! Actors are like a big family (well play kind not Hollywood) I am sure your not the only one nervous and I am sure you will do freat! You should expect walking in to a calm setting maybe a small theatre, where you just work on acting and just try to have fun!!!

    Hope you enjoy the class!!!

  2. Breathe.  Calm down.  Realize that everyone else will be nervous as well.  Relax and have fun.  This is a learning experience and a chance to learn about yourself as well.  You are not in competition with anyone else.  And you will get out of this alive.

  3. Acting Classes arn't like a contest. They are to improve your acting skills. Just be relaxed at first things should start out slow and you will get used to it. Of course you'll be nervous but remember your overall goal is to just improve.

  4. It will make you more nervous if you worry about everyone else. Plus, keep in mind that most likely everyone else will be nervous, too. Have fun with it!

  5. Don't be nervous. Actors are some of the nicest and most accepting people you'll ever meet. Don't be afraid to do anything and never think you're not as good as anyone else. Just hold your head high and walk in there with confidence. Good Luck!
