This isn't designed as a "thread" where you can respond and have a discussion. They killed that service a couple of years ago because they got sued.

Some people use the "edit" feature on their question field, and add "details" to comment on each response. Not very elegant but it's the only option you've got.

If you want to do the "thread" thing, go to Yahoo Message Boards. You can have discussions there.
