  1. I was one of the very first Realtors to support Realtor.com (I joined RIN in the early 1990's which later became REALTOR.COM).  It has developed into one of the least useful websites for finding homes on the internet.  I never even look at it anymore.  The searches are difficult, the costs for Realtors are high, and as you are finding out it takes a day or two longer for Realtor.com to download data from the MLS than almost any other website.  There are often fewer pictures that show up also.

In my area when I enter a home in the MLS it shows up within minutes on most agency websites and all the photos and other documents that I have uploaded (such as surveys and disclosures) show up right away also.

The Realtor.com usually does not ever download all the pictures and often none of the documents unless an agent pays extra to do so. When they do download it normally takes anywhere from 24 hours to two or three days. This is the opposite business plan of most of the internet.  Most sites want to provide the most complete data base and would never dream of limiting it to only those listings that pay.

So what I am saying if you are a buyer this is not the website to go to for the most complete and most updated information (and if you are a seller this is not a website I would be concerned about).

  2. It should be there in 3- 6 days.   /

  3. I was just looking thru realtor.com to see who the agent was on a house i am looking to buy and it wasnt even on there.  Although i looked through another MLS site and the homes been listed on that site for 5+ months!!
