No,It isn't fair. How exactly did you lose 10 points though? If BA is reported and removed your question is removed,but you don't lose points. I will say people here should take care in not picking hateful answers as best. In fact you should report them regardless of which side they represent.

It is absolutely not fair, and Y!A does nothing about it. They simply allow it to happen, and they rarely return a question once it has been reported and deleted - no matter how unjustly.
