Last week,I did not pass my probationary period at my recent job as a deli clerk at a grocery store and as a result, they did not keep me on.Prior to this,I worked as a checker at another store, but was not getting enough hours there checking, let alone in general,so I left for what I was hoping would be a better opportunity.I want to go back to my old job,but there may not be a position available to me.I have my car payment and insurance due soon, but only have enough to make the insurance payment,I am afraid I am going to lose my car,and that car means so much to me.I don't know what I want to do next, and I don't know where to start. What should I do?

  1. First call the people you owe the car payment and insurance to and let them know.  They will try to help!  They will hold off your payments and/or make them smaller for awhile until you catch up.  Whatever you do, DO NOT GET DISCOURAGED!!  Another job will come, just get your resumes out there and Good Luck!!

  2. im so sorry. just go to prior job and see if they have any openings, what harm could it do? in the mean time, maybe your family could loan you money. things will get better... :) these things happen to everyone at one time or another.

  3. file for unemployment online for your state

  4. to keep ur car u may have to swallow ur pride and get a min. wage job somewhere. but look around at other stores too. what about a drug store?
