I've recently lost an ovary due to a 15cm dermoid cyst and I have a new growth on the second ovary, I was wondering if anyone knew or knows from there own personal experience if they have to remove my last ovary if they can keep my eggs and some how preserve them until I want to have children, because I'm only 20, and I don't want to be able to lose my womanhood.

  1. Talk to your doctor that is the best thing to do...Good luck and I am sorry I couldn't give you more of an answer!

  2. you should be able to frezze and conserve your eggs

  3. Sorry to hear that. Even if they have to remove the ovary, you will not lose your womanhood. That is something you have always because God gifted it to you, and it is not something that has to be kept by ovaries or eggs or anything else a woman is known to have. I know it is possible to freeze your eggs so you can get pregnant at another time...But definitely ask your doctor. He/she will have the best answer, not Y!A...these people don't know what they're talking about. Much love <3
