  1. Now its Basketball- WTF

  2. 'power shooting' drills is a little unclear. drills to ensure that you are on balance and able to get a good shot off when defended or drills to ensure that if you are close to the bucket, you can power your way up to the rim.

for the former...local library will have a video put out by steve alford. he was a great player in college and now coaches at new mexico university, and this video sets out the drills that made him a solid perimeter shooter. it has a wealth of great individual drills using chairs, brooms, and other props to ensure a good work out by yourself or with a partner.

you can also get some drills for power layups from the alford video, but magic johnson's mid-eighties video is solid for work on these techniques. many of the power layup skills are simply rebounding skills and can be taken right from any rebounding lesson.

  3. You handle your balls well do ya?

  4. Let me see if I get this straight:

This is a basketball question in the "snooker & pool" section! Yep, no doubt about it... this guy is sure to make professional sports with an IQ of an 8-year-old.

The tip-off came (pardon the pun) when he offers up how GREAT he is as a ball "handler" (he spells it incorrectly), and then a great "perimeter" shooter (also spelled incorrectly), and then goes on to say he needs help (with an extra 'e'). You need help all right. And it isn't for b-ball.

The "pleeeeeez" I'll let slide because it shows emphasize.

  5. lift weight.  obviously balls you are used to handling oh so well are way to light if you need more power.
