I just move to an apartmen complex and find out that the Raccoons are living in the attik oh my god i have?

Raccoons are a nuisance animal in human quarters.  The good news is, they are usually nocturnal, meaning they are most active at night.  If you can figure out where they are entering and leaving your abode, you can wait until they leave, and then completely block their access back into the house, be careful to determine if they have young, cause if they do, you may want to wait until they are old enough to leave with the parents, or watch for them to leave with the "family", then secure the entrances into your home!  If you are in an apartment complex, I would suggest contacting the landlord to dispose of the animals, as they can also carry rabies and other diseases that makes messing with them directly, not a good idea.  Remove any feeding sources you can (trash cans, food, scraps and so on!).  You can try putting moth balls and garlic cloves in the attic and see if you can make it unpleasant enough they will leave on their own.  Hope this helps you!  Good luck!

Raccoon's have young this time of year and if you just get rid of the mother the babies will die and stink the whole house up if you can't find where she hid them. I know your freaking but you have three choices, call some one to trap them, wait for them to get old enough to go with mom on her nightly forays for food. After they leave after sunset board up the hole in the attic or put a radio on full volume during the day while they're trying to sleep and your at work. It might get a better response from your landlord.  RScott

Call the landlord, or the complex maintenance person. They need to get a wildlife removal service out there. Make a stink about it, because raccoons are very destructive, and can carry diseases.

If they won't do anything about it, call the city.
