I just mowed the lawn and got poison ivy all over me. how long do the symptoms last?

it's FREAKIN annoying. is it ok to scratch? and what do i put on it?

i got some on my FREAKIN groin too. idk how. i wasn't naked.

If you are not extremely allergic to it, it could go away in about a week to a week and a half. (you will need to be putting calamine lotion on it and taking benadryl to counter react the breakout).

Don't touch the exposed area at all, no matter how badly it drives you crazy, until you can wash it.

If all this doesnt work just go to the doctor.

Talc Powder or any type of baby powder usually works for poison ivy. Putting icecubes or taking baths in lukewarm or cool water is good too. And it depends from person to person how long it lasts. However it usually lasts about two weeks.
