I just noticed, are the Astros going to make another huge comeback this year?

I admit, I had kind of written them off because they had been been at the bottom of the division with the Pirates and the Reds all year. I totally missed this 7 game winning streak. And now they are only 8 games out of the wild card. They can't possibly do this without Carlos Lee, can they?

It's just crazy how certain teams always come on so strong down the stretch.

I dont think they can because they dont have the pitching! They did get Randy Wolf but still.......they seemed like they were poised for one but its a little late to come back from that many games! You never know though.....its baseball!

"Only" 8 games out of the wild card?  Not counting division leaders, there are 4 teams ahead of the Astros in the wild card race.  The chances of all of those teams faltering down the stretch and Houston continuing their hot pace seem pretty slim to me.

No, not this year. The Astros don't have the pitching, and the

Injury to Carlos Lee really hurts them. The Cubs, Brewers,

and Cardinals are better teams, and the best the Astros can

finish Is 3rd.......

I hope so. I think if they can win the next two series vs. the D'Back and Brewers they have a good shot. If they can keep up and win the NL Wild Card, Carlos Lee might be back. I just hope that they do well this season.

I really hope they do...And i really think that they can do this without Lee. It would be better, But they have been making it so far this couple of games without Lee.
