I was supposed to have two pills left, one for tonight and one for tomorrow but the one for tomorrow is gone. I am short 1 active pill. Perhaps I accidentally took 2 pills in a day some day. What should I do?

  1. Use other protection until next month just to be safe.  You should be fine as the instructions do tell you what to do if you miss a pill...which is basically what you did...taking two one day and now being one day short.  But definitely use condoms....as we should anyway...

  2. usually it doesn't matter if you miss one pill.

check the leaflet that comes with them and see what it says

  3. Don't have s*x next Tuesday.

  4. You need to get another pack and take 2 packs running together i.e without the gap or dummy pills. If you can't get another pack you need to not be having s*x.

  5. dont worry when i first went on birth control they had me take two in one day to get on track with the days on my birth control dial, nothing to worry about, its better to take one extra a day then miss it. Just keep taking them in order but remember if your birth control says the days on them they will be shifted one day. Just start taking your placebo pills, or if you dont take them at all just do whatever you choose to during your period week. Main idea with birth control is to be protected and you just need to take all of your active pills, its okay to take two in one day occasionally by accident is fine but try to stay on track so u have peace of mind, but this wont put u in jeopardy either, no worries

  6. Don't worry, you can always buy more birth control pills right?

  7. You just don't have one that day then start a new one the day after that as per normal
