I just noticed this ,now that the baby gerbils are out and about, but they are all the same color?

They have no distinguishing marks or different colors. Is that normal for them all to be the same color?

No it not normal but it not unheard of.

yes there parents where maybe the same color and they did't cage nothing is wrong with them they are perfectly heaflty

Hi,

I am a gerbil breeder and have been for several years.  I have nearly always had gerbils that were all the same color... black.  Sometimes I had a white one or two in there, but most of the time it was just black.  It is very normal, because we got ours from a breeder that theirs were always the same color.. we had two breeding pairs, one they were mostly always white, and the other they were mostly always black.  It just happens :)
