I just open a yahoo group and i have 2 members but when i typed in our group email it could not be found?

You have to wait at least 24 hours to be listed in the groups directory. It may take several days to be listed there.

"It’ll get listed in the Yahoo! Groups directory within a few days, in the category that you select during the set-up process. Occasionally, our team of category editors comes across groups they feel have been miscategorized, and if this happens with your group, we’ll let you know."

Do you mean in the Groups directory?  The directory is not updated immediately.  It will take several days, possibly a week, until your group is added to the directory.  In the meantime, you can invite people.
