I just ordered from Allen Brothers steaks, Linton Bros Seafood & Omaha Steaks..any suggestions?

Most of the mail order places are overpriced.

I've never gotten anything from Allen or Linton, but when you get your order from Omaha steaks, the amount you get as compared to what you paid is disappointing. Granted the meat is very, very good.

Depending on where you live, you're better off finding a butcher who knows what he or she is doing.  You'll get fresher meat that hasn't been frozen and you'll pay less.

I know butchers are few and far between these days but if you have a higher end supermarket in your area like Whole Foods, they can definitely give you a better value.
