I just paid off my car and the financial company mailed my title. In her letter says that I need to Re-Title?

Well when you finaced the car the title was put into the finance company name. When you paid off the car the title was signed and released the lean on the title.

Now you send it in and the title will be reissued in your name.

they just want you to go apply for a title that doesn't show that it has any leans on it any more,that's all that is,its a simple process,go to the dmv and they can handle this for you,good luck.
