  1. You can easily find base plus commission in northeast Louisiana. But, no matter where you are, you need to get out there and sell yourself to agency owners. Let them know you're eager to help build their book of business. Don't sit around reading the job postings in newspapers - GO to agencies and ask if they're fully staffed and hand over a good resume`. You're going to be selling for a living, so start by selling YOURSELF. You passed a tough exam to do this, so get out there and let people know you're ready! Good luck to you! (Oh, and the La. licensing fee is $75)

  2. The license fee will vary state to state, but in GA, its $50. It will be tough to find base plus commission. Typically, you're either a salesperson with commission or a CSR with salary. Start your search for a job by taking your resume to different agencies in your local area.

  3. start sending out resumes.  when i started out i got the phone book out and started sending them out to all the agents in my area.  didn't take long to get calls and find a job.  good luck!
