  1. I really need more details to answer the question. Are we talking a permanent wave or a permanent relaxer or perm.straighter, because there really is a big difference between the 3. P.S i don't think combing baby oil in it everyday is going to work.

  2. put baby oil on every day

  3. Keep washing it and it will eventually relax a little more but not come out completely.  I wouldn't use a chemical relaxer on your hair because you already have chemicals in your hair from the perm.

  4. There really isn't any way to 'undo' the perm, but if your hair is strong enough, you can try using a mild perm solution and 'combing' it through your hair (it's just like a perm without perm rods to curl it). I would *not* recommend using a relaxer on your hair, most of those are a lot harsher on your hair than perms are. You put the perm solution on it (which breaks down the hair shaft), and then comb it through (reshapes the hair), then wait as directed and douse your hair with neutralizing solution (firms up the hair shaft again with the new shape). It should give you a softer wave and smooth things out a bit.

If you want to keep the curl, but want it even, you can cut the ends off and go with it from there. It sounds like the ends were perhaps too damaged to take the curl.

If you do try to smooth it out with another perm solution, I'd either go into a salon and have them do it, or if you do it on your own, try it on a test strand at the very least. If the hair breaks or dissolves in the solution, there's no going back, so testing it on just a bit of your hair first is a good thing to do. If you take this route, be open to having shorter hair, in case the hair gets too damaged in the process. Most salons will let you come in for a consultation for free and they will let you know what they can and can't do to your hair.

    Hope that helps!
