  1. Niether! Both are really really bad for piercings. They dry them out, prolong healing time, kill off any good bacteria - both are terrible! You should get some sea salt and do sea salt soaks. Put the salt in warm water and soak your ears in it. Then take a Q-tip and soak it in the salt solution and make sure to get any lymph (crust) off of your earrings. Don't touch them with dirty hands, clean em twice a day and you should prevent infection.

    Good luck!

  2. u dont need to use that stuff unless it gets infected bc if u do i acaly might

  3. I would strongly suggest you consult your doctor on something like this.

  4. You could use both but I would go with the peroxide because that one was made to kill more germs than the rubbing alchohol and maybe try switching earrings for a while my ears got infected and I found out it was the kind of earring I was wearing. good luck!:)

  5. peroxide isn't good for new piercings. i would actually recommend using salt and water if you don't have a cleaning solution to clean it.

  6. peroxide and rubbing alcohol are horrible for piercings. they dry the skin around it out and can cause major complications.  if you don't have cleanser, just wash your ear with warm soapy water or a saltwater mix.

  7. Most cleaning solutions have alcohol in them which is AWFUL for piercings, I've had a bunch of them and when I was younger I used alcohol but they would get infected. When I used peroxide they got infected IMMEDIATELY and it was terrible. Now I use antibacterial soap or sea salt (sea salt or kosher salt, NOT iodized salt) and it works wonders. Try it

  8. peroxide

  9. Neither. Salt water is best. You can by saline solution at your local drug store inexpensively.
