Question:

I just pulled off an all night. What can I do to keep myself awake all day?

I have to start getting my sleeping schedule back on track for work. So I need to stay up ALL day today. Any advice?

  1. Caffeine (stop say after 6 pm though) keep moving. Get some sleep tonight. Try to not pull all nighters. Bad for you.


  2. Staying occupied, watch tv or just go for a long walk. You cant fall asleep while walking.. yea i havent slept either yet.  

  3. Get some sunlight in your eyes, stay moving and drink water.  Stay up until 9pm if you can.

  4. drink as many energy drinks as you can

  5. Umm... Snorting crystal meth works pretty good... Just kidding. Seriously, though, lot's of caffeine is what I usually do when I need to stay up. Maybe an energy drank or two. Never sit for too long or get too relaxed. Try to keep moving. But, the best thing to do is not to pull all-nighters. They are not healthy for you. Lack of sleep can also drastically increase your chance of making mistakes, having an accident, lowering intellectual capacity, etc. It's just not a good thing no matter how you look at it... Start sleeping right, honey!!! Good luck to you!

  8. While it my not be the healthiest thing you can do, energy drinks and coffee will get the job done. My favorite off hand is called "Bawls" but it is a little bit hard to find. Red Bull will also do the trick, but I don't think it tastes quite as good.

    Aside from drinks if that seems a little overkill for you, just keep you inertia going. An object in motion stays in motion, so ignore that desire to take a break. Keep pushing it off, and before you know it, night will fall and you shall reign victorious. I still like the energy drink strategy better.
