Everything works great except for the dvd player. When I watch a movie on the dvd player it has a green tint to the backgound and around the people in the movie.I tried adjusting the color and tint on my tv and the only way I can come close to making the color look correct when watching DVDs on this player is to move the tint totally to the red and eliminate all the green. But when I'm watching normal programming on my tv all the colors look great.I have the theatre system hooked to a 42" HD LCD tv. Does anyone have any suggestions on what might be causing this problem??

  1. does the system have different outputs for the dvd player and cable tv? It sounds like you have the component (red green, blue) wires crossed. If you only have one output from the receiver to the tv, my guess is wrong because it should effect both cable and dvd in that case. If you do have seperate inputs, doubhle check the cables making sure you didn't hook the red audio up to the red video.
