I just purchased an air conditioner and put it in the cart on its side. Will that cause a problem?

When I got home I noticed the box says not to turn it on its side. It was probably on its side for 1/2 hour.

  1. won't be a problem just let it sit upright till morning


  2. That is not a big deal. Let it stand till tomorrow right side up. That will let any liquid refrigerant flow down to where it needs to be so liquid is on bottom and gas is on top.

    You can install it - just don't turn it on till then.
