I just purchased the Rock Band Track Pack Vol. 1 for Wii and when i try to play it it says i need a usb mic ?

As the title states i purchased the game it says on the cover you do not need data from rock band the origanal game so i assume i should be able to play it with just a guitar thats what i got it for but when i select a solo tour ar any game mode the screen says i ned a usb mic i looked in the instruction booklet and it says nothing about needing a mic so how do i play the game without a mic or do i have to purchase one please help me and my wife have jto play little sister by Queens of the Stone Age befor we go to sleep please help

No. It says that automatically when you start b/c/ the 1st plyr remote controls the mic. You're okay.
