what could be going on with them. I do not put them on the charger between each use (have been told not to do that.) I may not have charged them up enough. One I left on the charger for 24 hours, the other 8 hours. Doesn't seem to make any difference. They go to a radioshack 2.4ghz , the batteries are Ni-MH 3.6 v 750mAh.

There was someone in the household who kept putting the phones on the charger the last 3 wks or so. But that surely isn't enough time for it to have an effect on the charge memory and besides I thought Ni-Mh's didn't have that issue.

I have let them go down completely, and have put both back on the chargers for several hours and I still only get a few hours of use out of them. Any ideas?

  1. will first off when you get new batteries you have to charge them up all the way. the factory dose not have them in a full charge staged. the butteries could me died by the time you bring them home to use in the cordless phone. these batteriess are just like a cell phone batterie. and if you charge the batteries up and nothing works you need a new cordless phone.
