  1. i wouldnt. norton is better.

  2. no you shouldnt itll help if the verizon one doesnt work

  3. I just had this problem today, my friend, yes take it off. It is a pain in the backside and it will have a conflict with any other anti-virus software that is installed in your computer.

Drop me a line, by clicking on the Avatar and the e-mail icon, and I'll give you instructions on how to uninstall it from your computer.

    Good luck

  4. I would take both of them off.  Neither of them are worth a D....

Why are you wasting money on over rated, over bloted security software when the FREE ones work better.

AVG  or AVAST for Virus removal

Spybot Search and Destroy for Spyware.

    That is all you need.

  5. Absolutely!

You must NEVER use two anti-virus programs.

    Use only one. Uninstall Norton.

This is what a Microsoft MVP has to say about the subject. You may also want to consider reading her entire web-page on "How to prevent Malware". It is one of the best that I have seen.

"Never install more than one Antivirus and Firewall! Rather than giving you extra protection, it will decrease the reliability of it seriously! The reason for this is that if both products have their automatic (Real-Time) protection switched on, your system may lock up due to both software products attempting to access the same file at the same time. Also because more than one Antivirus and Firewall installed are not compatible with eachother, it can cause system performance problems and a serious system slowdown."

Norton can be a real pain to remove completely, you may need to download and run the Norton Removal Tool from the Norton / Symantec website.

    Good luck.
