I just read a question and people were saying you can work out every day?

what is wrong with people? and there saying the same things

and then theres people saying rest 1 day...

1 day? one day is supposed to make everything fine...yeah ive never experienced gains from resting one day and noone else will either and if they do it will be minimal...its called overtrainingunless there genes are magnificent or on steroids...which thats 1 in a million for the genetics

  1. If you are working specific body parts...say abs/arms/shoulders on one day...the next day  maybe thighs/calves whatever.

    One day you may do aerobics.

    Nothing wrong w daily exercise.

    Heck...s*x is exercise...you can do that evryday...many times.


  2. Well you can workout every day if its a different muscle group every day but yeah you can't rest one day and work that same muscle group again after just one day of rest

  3. Yes most guides recommend a physical activity for at least 30 minutes everyday. By workout I assume you mean jogging on a treadmill, and everyday seems to be fine.

    However for strength training it is recommended that you exercise 4 days a week only. Muscles need time to grow and that is why you cannot do it everyday, but exercising should be done everday.

  4. its very plausible when applied properly.  like someone else mentioned, a 5 day split.  Also, olympic lifters often train several hours a day, 5 days a week.  thats because they are focusing on their form and motor recruitment, not just hypertrophy.  Different goals have different needs. So instead of bashing on everyone else for being wrong, why don't you shut your mouth because its clear you know as little as everyone else on here
