  1. Look at the source of the story.  Green Peace?  One of the most left-wing, liberal, extreme environmental, America hating groups in the world.  Come on!!

  2. Oh man!!!! You are in big trouble.  I also licked one and it made me incontinent.  You better go see the doctor right away!

  3. I also read the article, and since it had no place to post comments I searched here to say something about it. there are dangerous chemicals in almost anything that contains plastics (although go buy food and see no one is too concerned with wrapping it in plastic), electronics, and pretty much everywhere. Most are not a concern unless you REGULARLY INJEST LARGE AMOUNTS of them. l*****g plastic will not kill you, eating pieces of plastic regularly might start to build up some damage. I would not eat or taste anything off the circuit boards, those tend to contain heavy metals and other problematic stuff.

Also when you throw away the stuff, of course it winds up in a dump and the materials slowly wind up in the soil and probably surrounding water. Or, people dumpster dive for the junk and use harsh solvents to extract tiny quantities of valueable metals from them. The article I read thus suggested "never throw an old console in the trash" but didn't say where it should be put.

Overall it was an extremely alarmist piece of c**p article, coming just short of saying your children are in emminent danger of cancer if you have a video game system in the house.
