I just realized I forgot all about jury duty last Wednesday.?

misdemeanor, pay a fine, unless you can convince the judge otherwise (like w/Dr. note).

best thing to do is call them and see if you can get it rescheduled or if you have proof on why u couldnt make it. Do it as soon as possible. some jurisdictions could issue a bench warrant and u dont want that.

I'd forget it too... gee don't show up for work where I make over 20$ an hour to get paid 15$ for the whole day. Insulting. Just go in and act ignorant and racist, you'll leave quick.

if it has been a week, nothing will happen. If they do call, they will reschedule your jury duty, but it will be written in on the sheets instead of in the computer, so if you do not show up the second time, the computer will not notice it and nobody will figure it out. In fact if you show up, they will be confused

Probably nothing.  In theory, at least, there are severe penalties, but the reality is that 20% to 33% of jurors who are summoned just don't show up.  Call the contact number on your juror summons and explain what happened, and I can almost guarantee that they will be pleasant to you and will just reschedule a date for you to serve.
