I just realized something on NASCAR.COM.?

I was just about to get off of my computer and was messin around and clicked on the en espanol button to turn to spanish (i was bored). Then I saw the 4 top stories on the home page had changed so i figured they had just updated the headlines so i went back to english and they weren't the same stories. They all dealt with NASCAR. I'm just curious to why they would have different stories.

The spanish version has a different editor. The editor decides what content the site has. I am sure the articles are what the editor thinks his audience wants. Stories about Montoya will be featured more than Jr. stories etc.

I'm not fluent in spanish but I can see Montoya's name isn't on the first page in the english version but is on the spanish version. Dale Sr's picture is on the english version and not on the spanish version so there are changes related to expected interest.

I'm fluent in Spanish and checked them both out. The stories about Mears, Jarrett, Letarte, Coke 600 pole, Wheeler, Montoya, W. Ribbs, and R&D are in the Spanish version just like they are in the English version.    It's basically the same info just laid out differently.

Just different people writing the stories, it has always been like that....
