I have no use for the new replacement phone that Verizon sent me because i have already replaced the old phone with another one.

I want to sell the new replacement phone on Ebay.Do i have to do any kind of programming to it before i can resell it?I know used phones are sold all the time but i didnt know if i had to activate the phone first on my own account to show Verizon that i received it and then deactivate it to resell it.Any Help??Thanks

  1. Did you check with Verizon Insurance that you don't have to send the old phone in. I know most cell phone insurances want you to send back the old phone you want to replace it with. If you don't they'll charge you for your replacement. Call up.

I think you can sell it without a problem. It's not activated and that's why it's called new.
