  1. At 13 you are getting a late start - nothing you can do about that.  So:

    -get private lessons

    -get group lessons

-play as many tournaments as you can stand.

In a few years you will know the answer to your question.  Until then, enjoy the game.  Tennis is a game for a lifetime and a lot of fun to play.

Worry about playing well and the rest will take care of itself, regardless of what the answer is.

  2. ...u just gota listen...thats basically it...AND the most crucial thing that even pros get wrong sometimes is to realize your error and fix it...not just ignore it. Don't b to hard on urself.

  3. Anything is possible if you put your mind into it. Not all tennis pros are gifted. Most of them developed their skills through dedication/commitment, personal sacrifice, and hard work. You will have to work twice as hard compared to those who had a head start at a much earlier age.  Hey, if you want it bad enough then do whatever it takes to get there. One suggestion is you may want to enroll in a tennis academy to develop your skills or find a tennis coach who can provide pointers about the game.

  4. I doubt that even your coach would be able to answer that question after 6 months.

Your bet course of action right now is to practice intelligently (don't just smash the ball, try to put it exactly where you want with every shot), read books on tennis, watch videos, listen to your coach and ask lots of questions about technique, strategy etc.

Above all, enjoy yourself and make sportsmanship your ultimate priority!
