I just removed old clear coat on my 79' baja boat. I wet sanded the gel coat with 400 grit. what now?

I am only working on the top half of the boat. I am wondering what to do before i clear coat it for best results.

Tack rag and paint.

Most urethane clear coats will adhere well to it.

You can also machine buff and wax it for a nice finish.
