I just rescued a 3year old gelding whom is very thin how can I safely put weight on him?

I would like to put weight on him and have him recieve the nutrition he needs to grow.

Quality grain ration 2X a day based on his weight

Free choice hay

Vitamin sups.

Always lotsa' water

Have him worm checked & worm if needed

And most importantly... love him- let him know he can depend on you & he won't be hungry again due to neglect

just feed him a regular amount of food and he will gain the weight back
