The producers don't want to be accused of profiling, need to lock up the occasional white guy.

since so many black men are committing crimes, the media wants to try to make us believe that they are not committing the bulk of crimes.  So they just go and arrest random white men that didn't even do anything.  It's part of the American system, quotas for everything, including jail sentences.
