I just saw a mouse!!!!?

Question

Oh my goshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I just saw a mouse! I saw it downstairs in the kitchen.

It's a clean house so I don't know why it would be here!! Anyone know why?

Also, can mice climb walls or something or do they have any way of getting upstairs into our rooms?!!?!?! I don't know if this helps but all the rooms have carpet. the stairs also have carpet.

PLEASE ANSWER ASAP!!

Mice can climb because one time there was one in my drop ceiling.....ewww.

they creep me out......the best thing i found to keep them out of my house was the cat that we took in from the cold 2 years ago.

The only time we find a mouse now, is an occasional dead one that she killed.

The d**n things give me the creeps too! Yes, they can get nearly anywhere and eat through anything.

I prefer to use the old fashioned wood & wire traps, but there are other types available, including glue traps. There are also several poisons available. I doubt that you have a major problem, but if you see one there are a dozen around.

Glue traps are good... wood ones too!  Cats work better!  Just be careful if you have a dog... they like to eat the glue traps!

Yep Mice can climb. If you have one you probably have more. Cleanliness has zip to do with mice entering a home. They will find a way in through the tiniest of holes. I read somewhere that a mouse can go through a hole as small as the lead tip on a pencil. The best way is to find the hole where they are coming in. Patch it and stick some steel wool in the hole. Mice cannot chew through that. Place traps all over the house and especially in the Kitchen . Place them upstairs as well because mice Can climb walls! Look for droppings around your house under cabinets ect... It can give you a good idea where they are living. Set the traps with peanut butter. Contrary to most beliefs mice are more attracted to it than cheese.  You will catch it. Mice tend to show themselves more at night. So it may be then that you will hear the traps go off.  Also keep all your food in containers sealed tight. Such as bread, crackers, chips. ect....  Sweep after every meal to get dropped food which may attract these pesky rodents!!! The sooner you set the traps the better. I hate mice and rats with a passion and I have learned how to illiminate them. Hope you can use this advice. Good luck!

Don't worry mice can't hurt you.  Get a few mouse traps and put them out and it will be gone in no time.  Our house is clean as well and we get the occasional mouse because we live in a rural area.  Mice can't climb walls but it might find a way upstairs into your rooms.

Don't be afraid. u should put traps for the mice  and yes mice's  can climb u better watch out and put as many traps as possiple

check around outside for holes at the bottom of your house thats were most mice tend to enter. it is possible the mouse can get upstairs but not by your staircase unless it is a large mouse
