and i was about to print out a shipping label and my printer stopped working, i told the buyer what happened and today i see he sent me 3 e mails, one saying just send me the bracelet and everything will be OK, the second one says, are you trying to rip me off, you don't want to do that i know people in NEW JERSEY that will track you down and the third one says, contact me ASAP unless you want me to contact my friends in JERSEY, i don't think you want to go there. this is my first sale and i don't think this guy deserves the bracelet now, should i just suck up his ****** remarks and ship it or can i contact pay pal or e bay to cancel this sale. how can i do that?

  1. contact ebay and keep his email handy or just suggest that you send the bracelet in the mail priority mail

  2. e bay sucks thats why theres craigs list you can put stuff for sell on there for free with no porsonal information

  3. This is more of a legal question than a buyer with his shorts in a knot. First, contact ebay and paypal about the threats. Second, a reasonable amount of time for shipping an item is expected. I buy and sell a lot on ebay and sometimes I have waited about a week for the item to be shipped. Most legit buyers and sellers know the payment has to clear because of fraud online , not just in ebay. If you have gotten 3 emails because he bought it less than 24 hours ago then I would contact ebay and paypal inform them, send a copy of the letters and request to cancel the sale. You will have to refund the money, but only do it after you are sure it clears. If he leaves a negative feedback which I guarantee he will, post you own explanation to it. To contact ebay you can either do the live chat which is about the only way at first, calling them is like getting an audience with the Pope. If you are as you say thinking about sucking it up and sending him his item, don't expect him to leave you a good feedback, Ebay has a rule that only buyers can leave negative feedbacks, sellers can not leave negative or neutral feedbacks

  4. First how does he/she know where you live? Unless you gave them that info. They know you live in New Jersey because that's whats on the listing. I'd follow the other advice. Ship them the bracelet via USPS or UPS and don't include your address on the return. Make sure you send it with signature required.

I'd anticipate negative feedback from this person. Sounds like a real idiot. People that are really connected don't write emails threatening people and most don't shop ebay for bracelets.

Sometimes when you do business with anonymous buyers you are going to get the real weirdos. In the end if they paid for the item then regardless of what you want to do they still are owed what they paid for.

  5. How many days since the sale of the item??

First of all, you do not need to "print" out the label to be able to send the item to the buyer. You can just write it on the package and it would of been fine. Always, always, always make sure you have the package tracked, this will help prevent any mishaps in the buyer saying that the item was never received.

Second, report the emails to eBay. I hope you saved them all. They are of a threatening nature. This guy needs to be reported.

Third, the item sold, you need to go ahead and send it. After all, it was paid for.

  6. Put the bracelet in a softpac hand write the address and go to Post Office and insure it to make certain this customer has no complaints.  Then write him a separate letter telling how sorry you were the printer went down, and anytime he wanted to do business again, you would be more than happy to do so.  Nail him with kindness, this is business, not war.

  7. Send the bracelet to him because he paid for it but also let ebay know how you were treated

  8. Why don't you just hand write the shipping label, send the item to the buyer and be done with it...

  9. Hand write the label first, then I would report this to E-Bay. You explained what happened, you didn't have a plan of not sending it you just wanted to explain to him what was going on and he took it way over the edge. And if her REALLY knew people in NJ, then why is he shopping on e-bay. You need $$$ to really know people in NJ. lol

  10. Just how much is this bracelet worth?

Does it have some value that you're not aware of?

His reaction seems a little over the top....

Hand write a receipt and send it, I often get things like that..or with no documents at all.

  11. People have been mailing stuff since long before the days when everyone had a printer in their home.

Go to the Post Office. Mail it to him Return Receipt Requested. That way, you'll have his signature showing that he got the package.

You can write the address on the front of the package yourself with a pen. No computer or printer required.

  12. I've sold a lot of stuff on Ebay and I never use the printer.  Just hand write the address on the package and send it.  Yes, some people are jerks but if he won the auction and paid for the item, you need to send it to him quickly before he gives you bad feedback and ruins your Ebay career. Don't leave him bad feedback either if he paid in a timely manner. You can contact Ebay about the threats through email. The only time I canceled a sale was when I sold a purse and the day of shipping, my cats destroyed it. The buyer was understanding and we left mutually good feedback for each other.

Like above said, definitely get a delivery confirmation when you ship anything.
